Cyber Monday Sales Up 15 Percent

According to the New York times, Cyber Monday sales increased 15 percent over last year.Total sales were reported to be $846 Million Dollars.

Just like brick and mortar retailers online retailers brought shoppers to their site by price cutting.

Year over year, the NY Times reports that Cyber Monday sales continue to increase.

Last year sales were up 21 percent over the year before and the year before that they were up 19 percent.

Although sales are up, no one is reporting yet whether profits will show an increase over previous years.

And the times reports that the biggest online shopping day of the year my be yet to come as some analyst say that December 15th may be the biggest online shopping day of the year.

The 15th of December is usually the last day you can get free shipping offers from most E-tailers.
