Sears Website Brought Down by Christmas Shoppers
Looks like the Sears website was brought down by Internet shoppers on Black Friday.
According to Keynote system, an Internet performance company, the site began to slow down around 9:30 and then the site went down all together for around 2 hours.
Other shopping shopping sites like amazon also indicated that they were slower but had no problem accommodating an increased number of shoppers as expected.
Everyone is anxious to see how it will go today on Black Monday.
At least the only thing you have to worry about when shopping online is the server being brought down.
At Walmart worker was killed in a stampede of customers when the doors opened for the traditional door busters specials at 5 in the morning.
An investigation is underway as to whether anyone will be charged.
As for cyber Christmas shopping there are only downed severs and freaked out IT personnel.
Target says they will make Cyber Monday as easy as possible by having of customer advocates guiding buyers to the best deals.
And Amazon will have online advisers ready to assist.
